SCOPE OF PROJECT
At Discovery Park in Kent, UK they are at the forefront in exploring how to deploy Mobile Cobots in a fully automated test cycle workflow for the pharmaceutical industry. This test case was designed to test how the ER-FLEX robot can manage a fully automated sample test cycle of pills - or OSD testing (Oral Solid Dosage) in professional terms.
SOLUTION
This case study shows how the ER-FLEX transports test samples across building floors, retracts samples from machines, inserts into other test machines. A repeatable work cycle over longer distances, each time with precision and stability. The robot holds a repetitive and tedious job, logging every move on it's route and thus ensuring traceability, repeatability and reliability throughout the entire test procedure.
